THE BEGINNING

Before the code

My journey into technology wasn't a straight path. Before becoming a software engineer, I experienced ordinary work, business and the realities of trying to build something from very little.

THE TURNING POINT

Computer Science changed the direction

I studied Computer Science at the Cooperative University of Kenya and began taking software development seriously.

BUILDING WITH LIMITS

My first website wasn't built on a laptop

One of the defining moments of my journey was building my first GitHub Pages website without owning a laptop. I used a Samsung device acquired through a "lipa mdogo mdogo" arrangement.

Today, I work across software engineering, entrepreneurship and digital transformation while building SamTech Elite Solutions and experimenting with new digital products.
